Mr Charlie’s, dubbed the “vegan McDonald’s,” is expanding with two new locations in San Diego, known for its plant-based versions of popular fast-food items like the “Frowny Meal” and its red-and-gold color scheme. The chain, with three current locations in California, plans to open in San Diego’s Hillcrest and Pacific Beach neighborhoods. With a focus on community, compassion, and the planet, Mr Charlie’s has also announced franchising opportunities for like-minded partners looking to join the plant-based movement.

Partnered with LA’s Dream Center, Mr Charlie’s provides opportunities for homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals, offering jobs and support to those in need.
