‘Vegan McDonald’s’ Mr Charlie’s Unveils New ‘Mr Royale’ Cheeseburger

Vegan fast food joint Mr Charlie’s, also known as the “vegan McDonald’s,” has introduced a new plant-based burger called the “Mr Royale with cheese.” This burger features a dairy-free cheese made in collaboration with Stockeld Dreamery, known for its traditional cheese fermentation techniques that give it a more authentic flavor. The burger also includes an Impossible burger patty, ketchup, onions, and pickles, and is currently available at the LA and San Francisco branches.

Established in LA in 2022, Mr Charlie’s specializes in entirely plant-based burgers, nuggets, fries, and more. The restaurant is also known for its “frowny meals,” which come in a red branded box with a sad face.
