Vegan Meat Brand THIS Receives £20m In Funding

UK-based plant-based meat brand THIS has secured £20m in funding from sustainable investment platform Planet First Partners. The company specializes in vegan alternatives to chicken, beef, and pork, with its products available in major UK supermarkets. THIS was named the fastest growing food brand in the country last year, and the new funding brings its total raised since its launch in 2019 to £35m.

The funding will be used to accelerate growth in the UK, with plans to launch new products and expand its offerings. THIS has estimated that it has saved over a million animals from the food chain and its products are also more environmentally friendly, producing fewer emissions than traditional meats.
