UK vegan pet food company Omni has raised £11 million in funding, led by IW Capital, with participation from several other investors. The B Corp certified company has experienced significant growth over the past year, adding over 100,000 customers since its appearance on Dragons' Den. Omni's products use novel proteins such as yeast, algae, and pulse-derived proteins to target common allergens found in traditional pet food, providing complete nutrition without triggering allergies.

Repeat investor Deborah Meaden, who first backed Omni on Dragons' Den, has reinvested in this round, emphasizing the company's commitment to science, innovation, sustainability, and ethics. The funding will support customer acquisition, retail expansion, and new product development, including a drug-free weight-management supplement for dogs. Giles Humphries of Redrice Ventures praised Omni for solving real problems in the consumer pet food market and delivering products that pet owners genuinely love.
