Vegan skates to three gold medals

Vegan skater Kristen Santos-Griswold achieved a remarkable feat by winning three gold medals at the ISU Four Continents Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Canada. Competing in the 500 metres, 1000 metres, and 1500 metres events, Kristen emerged victorious in all three races over the weekend. She became the first US skater to win an individual gold medal at the Championships, showcasing her exceptional talent on the ice.

Kristen has been vegan since 2018, attributing her dietary choice to her love for animals and her desire to avoid contributing to harm. She believes that her plant-based diet has not only benefitted her overall well-being but has also improved her skating performance.
