The UK-based organization commissioned YouGov polls in its core campaign countries to arrive at this figure, with over 1.8 million people directly supported by Veganuary's resources such as emails, YouTube videos, and podcasts. The movement has encouraged millions to try a plant-based diet since its launch in 2014, with a growing number of vegans in the UK and an increasing global reach in countries like the US, Germany, and Chile.

More than 100 UK workplaces participated in Veganuary in 2024, with food launches from major brands like Pizza Hut, Pukka, and Wetherspoons making it easier for individuals to try plant-based options. The campaign offers various channels of support and guidance, including a weekly podcast, daily coaching videos, and multilingual social media channels to reach a wider audience and promote veganism on a global scale.
