Vegan bodybuilder Torre Washington, 50 years old, won the Physique 40+ category at the IFBB Las Vegas Pro competition, competing against athletes up to ten years younger than him. Fitness Volt described his performance as "impeccable" with a "classic structure" and exceptional balance and conditioning. This win qualifies Torre for Olympia and marks his 28th year as a vegan. Torre promotes veganism to show how humans can thrive while existing holistically with all beings and eating a diet rich in wholefoods like tofu, lentils, oatmeal, and broccoli.
