VFC Expands Vegan Brands Portfolio with Clive’s Purely Plants Acquisition Agreement

VFC has expanded its plant-based brands portfolio by acquiring Clive’s Purely Plants, known for its premium vegetable pies and other plant-based products. This move diversifies VFC's offerings and establishes its first manufacturing facility in Dartmouth. Previously owned by Veg Capital, Clive’s will now operate as a subsidiary of VFC Foods with full support from its existing team.

VFC's CEO Dave Sparrow sees this acquisition as positioning the company as a formidable player in the market, with the ability to offer a diverse range of plant-based products. With the UK plant-based market showing signs of stagnation, VFC aims to meet growing consumer demand for high-quality plant-based options through this acquisition and by integrating Clive’s products into its portfolio alongside Meatless Farm.
