VFC Launches New ‘Naked’ Vegan Chicken Breast And ‘First To Market’ Chicken Mince

British vegan fried chicken brand VFC has introduced two new products - plant-based "naked" chicken breasts and chicken mince. The naked chicken line is described as affordable and versatile, with the mince containing 31g of protein per 100g and 65 percent less saturated fat than animal-derived mince. The products are aimed at providing a nutritious, tasty, and affordable alternative to traditional proteins, and are available at Morrisons supermarkets nationwide.

VFC's recent acquisitions of Meatless Farm and Clive's Purely Plants reflect the company's ambitious global growth strategy and mission to remove animals from the food chain. The new naked chicken line consists of products like chick*n mince and breasts, which are said to match the taste and texture of conventional chicken while offering exceptional nutritional value. VFC predicts further distribution across major retailers in early 2024, following the launch of its new vegan chicken products at Morrisons this week.
