While the Satvik Movement promotes plant-based nutrition and healthy living, it has faced criticism for spreading health misinformation. The movement has shared videos promoting unproven practices like "sungazing" and sunbathing, which can potentially harm individuals. A report has identified the movement as one of 53 social media "super-spreaders" of health misinformation, putting millions of vulnerable users at risk with their misleading advice.
