Vitasoy Profit Rises Despite Lower Annual Revenue

Vitasoy International Holdings reported a higher annual profit for FY2025/26, despite a 3% decline in revenue to HK$6.06 billion. This drop was attributed to weaker sales in Mainland China and softer performance in parts of its Hong Kong operation. However, profit attributable to shareholders rose 17% to HK$274 million and profit from operations increased 18% to HK$430 million, supported by lower operating costs, improved plant efficiency, and a gain from the disposal of idle land and buildings.

Mainland China remained a significant challenge for Vitasoy, with sales declining by 5%, partly offset by growth in omni-channel sales. In other regions, such as Australia and New Zealand, the company delivered record net sales revenue, while Singapore saw an increase in revenue and a return to profitability due to product and cost adjustments. Despite facing competitive market conditions and geopolitical uncertainty, the company remains focused on evolving its operating model and capabilities for sustained growth in the future.
