Vow, under its Forged brand, has introduced Australia's first home-ready cultured meat product, the Smoked Cultured Quail Spread. Made with 40% cultured Japanese quail, the spread boasts a rich, smoky flavor with a deep umami profile. The quail cells are sourced locally in Sydney and are cultured in a nutrient-rich broth over a period of 79 days to create a unique texture and flavor profile. This product is available exclusively in the Greater Sydney area for now, following Vow's approval from FSANZ earlier this year.

Along with the quail spread, Vow is also developing other cultured quail products such as tallow candles, whipped pâté, foie gras, and potato croquettes. These items are still in the development phase as the company aims to expand the range of cultured meat products available to consumers. The Smoked Cultured Quail Spread is currently available for online purchase within the Sydney area, and with its limited batch production, it is expected to sell out quickly. This marks a significant milestone in bringing cultured meat products to Australian consumers' homes.
