Wagamama Partners with Fable Food Co to Launch 4 Pulled Shiitake Dishes

Wagamama has partnered with Fable Food Co to launch four meat-free dishes featuring Fable’s Pulled Shiitake, with two vegan-friendly options on the menu. The dishes include a Pulled Shiitake Koyo Bowl and a Pulled Shiitake Crispy Otsumami, as well as two vegetarian options.

Fable Food Co produces meat alternatives made with shiitake mushrooms, known for their meat-like texture and umami flavor. The company has recently raised funding to expand R&D and international expansion efforts. Wagamama's collaboration with Fable comes as the restaurant chain continues to expand its plant-based menu options, following its decision to make 50% of its menu plant-based in 2021.
