Wall’s Pastry Launches Vegan Peppered Steak Slice and Chicken & Mushroom Slice

UK brand Wall’s Pastry, owned by The Compleat Food Group, has introduced two new vegan products to their range - the Vegan Peppered Steak Slice and the Vegan Chicken & Mushroom Slice. These plant-based options are encased in flaky pastry and can be eaten hot or cold, offering a similar taste and texture to their meat counterparts. This launch marks Wall’s first foray into vegan slices in major supermarkets, following the success of their Vegan Sausage Roll which has seen growth of 23.4%.

The brand’s expansion into plant-based options reflects a growing demand for high-quality vegan alternatives to classic savoury pastries. Wall’s now offers a variety of plant-based options, including the Vegan Hearty Chilli Bean Slice and the Vegan Red Thai Curry Slice. With the launch of the Vegan Peppered Steak Slice and Vegan Chicken & Mushroom Slice at Tesco stores nationwide, Wall’s aims to provide more choice for consumers seeking plant-based options in their everyday meals and snacks.
