Washington to Debut Statewide Plant-Based Raw Tuna at Just Poke Locations

Just Poke locations in Washington will be featuring plant-based raw tuna, developed by Impact Food, marking the first statewide introduction of the product in the region. This plant-based alternative, called Impact Tuna, replicates the texture and flavor of traditional raw fish without the environmental impact of ocean-sourced tuna. The product will be available as both a protein replacement and add-on option in various dishes at all Just Poke restaurants in the state.

Stephanie Claudino Daffara, COO of Impact Food, highlighted the partnership with Just Poke as a step towards making sustainable choices in the West Coast's fresh and sustainable eating culture. Impact Food has previously partnered with Pokeworks on a limited-time offering in California and NYC, and also debuted a plant-based sushi-grade salmon on World Oceans Day. With rising environmental concerns about the impact of ocean-sourced seafood, plant-based alternatives like Impact Tuna are gaining traction as a solution, and Just Poke's promotion of the product aligns with their commitment to clean eating and sustainability.
