The onions are created using natural methods to be sweeter and milder than traditional varieties, making them a game changer for meal prep for those who typically shed tears when cutting onions. Another tear-free onion brand, Sunions, is also available in the US and UK, offering a similarly sweet and mild taste that becomes even milder and sweeter over time.

Both Tearless Onions and Sunions are best enjoyed in recipes like salads, sandwiches, casseroles, and soups rather than in dishes requiring a stronger flavor like curries. Happy Chop's Tearless Onions are exclusively grown for Woolworths and available in 500g packs for AUD $2.50 each, while Sunions can be found in various grocery stores in the US and UK.
