Freebirds World Burrito Adds Vegan Chorizo to Menu

Freebirds World Burrito has expanded its vegan options by adding plant-based chorizo and grain-free tortillas to its menu at all Texas locations. The plant-based chorizo, made by Abbot’s Butcher, is gluten-free and made from pea protein, smoked paprika, and zesty spices to closely resemble animal-based chorizo. The grain-free tortillas, from Siete Family Foods, are made from avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, coconut sugar, sea salt, yeasts, and four different types of grain-free flours.

In addition to the new vegan additions, Freebirds offers a variety of vegan-friendly options such as beans, rice, tortillas, and sauces. Customers can customize their orders into bowls, burritos, tacos, nachos, or salads. With a focus on plant-based and gluten-free options, Freebirds is catering to a wider range of customers seeking delicious and diverse menu choices.
