Steakholder Foods Starts U.S. Retail Sales With Five-Product Perfecta Range

Steakholder Foods has started retail sales of its Perfecta plant-based range in the Northeastern United States, marking the first time the products have been commercially available on US store shelves. The initial assortment includes five products such as plant-based marbled steak, filet mignon, chicken breast, salmon patties, and white fish patties. Although the participating retailers, individual locations, and pricing have not been disclosed, the company has teamed up with KeHE Distributors to handle distribution.

The launch follows the company's plans to introduce Perfecta in the second half of 2026, beginning in the Northeast and expanding to other regions in the US as production and distribution capacity increases. CEO Arik Kaufman believes that the plant-based category is ready for innovative products that prioritize taste and eating experience. As the company looks ahead to further retail and distribution expansion, it aims to meet growing consumer demand for plant-based options.
