Walmart has introduced a new range of plant-based products under its private label, bettergoods. The range includes items such as oat milk ice cream, vegan cheese, and boxed mac and cheese, all identifiable by their green packaging. With the majority of products priced under five dollars, Walmart aims to provide affordable, quality plant-based options for customers looking to elevate their food experience.

One of the key releases in the bettergoods range is oat milk frozen desserts, available in flavors like Mint Chocolate Chip, Blueberry Swirl, and Salted Caramel for $3.44 a pint. Walmart plans to continue rolling out new plant-based launches in the coming months to meet the growing demand for vegan alternatives in the US. With an increasing number of Americans opting for meat-free diets or incorporating more plant-based options into their meals, Walmart’s new range aims to cater to this trend and provide accessible plant-based options for consumers.
